USB 3.0 is a standard of USB connection technology which was launched in 2008 and has since become the global standard for USB connection. This standard features a data transfer technology called SuperSpeed. This allows data to be transferred at speeds of up to 5Gbps. USB 3.0 is also capable of supplying power up to 60W.
